Job summary

NTU International A/S seeks a Non-Key Expert – Sustainable Infrastructure Development to support technical assistance for planning, preparation and implementation of sustainable, resilient infrastructure investments in Papua New Guinea and across the Pacific region. The role requires extensive experience in infrastructure development, feasibility studies and donor-funded projects.

Qualifications

• University degree, preferably postgraduate, in civil/infrastructure/environmental planning or related field.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including drafting high-quality documents.
• Strong knowledge of sustainable infrastructure development, context for PNG and Pacific region.
• Ability to work independently in multidisciplinary and multicultural teams.
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally and locally, incl. remote areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance for planning, preparation and implementation of sustainable infrastructure projects.
• Support identification, prefeasibility and feasibility studies for infrastructure investments.
• Contribute to procurement, project implementation and asset management.
• Assist in programming, monitoring and evaluation of infrastructure development programmes.
• Engage with government, utilities, IFIs and development partners to promote climate-resilient infrastructure.
