Job summary

osapiens is seeking a Senior Solution Engineer focused on the CPG & Retail vertical to translate complex compliance and efficiency requirements into a clear value vision for the osapiens HUB. You will partner with Account Executives, tailor enterprise demonstrations, and own end-to-end proofs-of-concept across SAP and non-SAP ecosystems.

You will bring 4+ years in solution engineering, deep industry understanding, and strong technical fluency in APIs, SAP, SSO, and cloud architectures.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in solution engineering, presales, or tech-focused consulting for B2B SaaS.
• Deep understanding of regulatory pressures, value chain and digital landscape in your industry.
• Owned complex enterprise deals end-to-end, incl. POCs and security reviews; large deals >€250K.
• Strong fluency with REST APIs, SAP, SSO, cloud architecture and integration patterns.
• Business acumen to map regulatory/operational pain to ROI and deployment roadmaps.
• Proficient in AI-assisted research, demo prep and RFP work; capable in Postman.
• German (native/near-native) and English fluency required; travel 25–35%.

Responsibilities

• Be the Solution Engineering owner of your industry’s enterprise opportunities at osapiens.
• Design and deliver vertical-tailored demos of the osapiens HUB with industry KPIs.
• Own end-to-end proofs-of-concept anchored in your industry’s value drivers.
• Navigate integrations with SAP and non-SAP systems relevant to your vertical.
• Lead RFPs, RFIs, and IT-Integration topics as the trusted owner.
• Own the competitive picture and curate references to close deals.
• Represent osapiens at industry events and advisory boards.
• Collaborate with Account Executives on deal strategy and coaching.
• Feed industry insights back to Product for roadmap decisions.
• Mentor junior SEs and help scale enablement programs.
