Job summary

Client Server is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Amsterdam team. You’ll work on a modern tech stack including Kotlin, Spring Boot and AWS, delivering scalable microservices for a FinTech product aimed at sustainability and NetZero targets.

The role combines hands-on development with DevOps practices and CI/CD, in a hybrid setup with three days in the Amsterdam office and two days remote. Fluency in English and legal eligibility to work in the Netherlands are required.

Qualifications

• Strong server-side Kotlin experience (Java background acceptable).
• Experience with Spring Boot and microservices.
• Knowledge of OOP, design patterns and data structures.
• Good knowledge of AWS.
• Understanding of CI/CD and DevOps.
• Fluent English language skills.
• Eligible to work in the Netherlands without visa restrictions.

Senior Software Engineer / Developer (Kotlin Spring Boot AWS) Amsterdam to €90,000

WFH Policy:

You’ll join colleagues in the Amsterdam office three days a week with flexibility to work from home the other two days.

About you:

• You have strong serverside Kotlin experience (Java background is good)
• You have experience with Spring Boot and microservices
• You have a thorough understanding of Computer Science fundamentals such as OOP, Design Patterns, Data Structures
• You have a good knowledge of AWS
• You have a good understanding of CI/CD, DevOps
• You're collaborative, enjoy problem solving and continually learning
• You have fluent English language skills
• You are able to work in the Netherlands without visa restrictions, no highly skilled migrant visas
