Job summary
Lever, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Golang/TypeScript/React) for an independent contractor role based in the Netherlands.
You will work on a data‑intensive platform used by major global organizations, building Golang microservices and modern frontends with React and TypeScript. You will own features end‑to‑end, influence architecture, and improve observability, performance, and engineering standards in a distributed, international team.
Qualifications
- Strong backend experience with Golang and Docker containers.
- Frontend experience with React and TypeScript emphasizing performance and UX.
- Proficiency in SQL for data-intensive apps and relational DBs.
- Knowledge of clean-code and idiomatic TS/Go practices.
- Ability to learn quickly and communicate complex topics clearly.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, maintain, and enhance Golang microservices and frontend apps.
- Build performance-minded React/TypeScript interfaces following design system principles.
- Own features end-to-end from ideation to production and improvement.
- Contribute to technical strategy and architectural decisions.
