Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer (Contractor) based in the Netherlands for a fully remote role. You will build high-quality web applications, own frontend features end-to-end, and collaborate across product, design, and backend teams in a fast-paced SaaS environment.

You will work with React, TypeScript, and Material UI, aiming for pixel-perfect interfaces, performance, and accessibility. Strong English communication and overlap with US business hours are valued.

Qualifications

• Min 5 years building production-grade React apps.
• Strong TypeScript, React, Material UI v5+, Redux Toolkit, RTK Query.
• Advanced CSS (Flexbox/Grid), responsive, mobile-first.
• Experience with React Hook Form.
• Frontend testing with Jest, RTL, Cypress or Playwright.
• Excellent English, clear written communication, remote work ability.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver responsive UI using React, TypeScript, and Material UI.
• Own features from design handoff through deployment and improvement.
• Build complex, validated forms for desktop, tablet, and mobile.
• Develop automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Optimize frontend performance, accessibility, and Core Web Vitals.
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend engineers to deliver features.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor others; shape frontend best practices.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools to boost productivity while validating code.
• Help evolve frontend tech stack, component library, and design system.
