Job summary

N-Sea is seeking an experienced Operational ROV Asset Manager in IJmuiden to lead the readiness, maintenance and performance of global ROV assets. You will oversee a multidisciplinary team, ensure safety compliance and optimize asset availability for projects.

Key responsibilities include budgeting, stakeholder coordination, risk management and continuous improvement of asset management processes. Ideal candidates bring 10+ years offshore, 5+ years in leadership and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent through professional experience.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the offshore subsea industry.
• At least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role in a technical environment.
• Proven experience in maintenance and repair of ROV assets and offshore equipment.
• Strong leadership, coaching and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the safe, compliant and efficient management of all ROV assets under N-Sea control.
• Oversee maintenance and repair activities, ensuring assets meet legislation, manufacturer guidelines and company standards.
• Implement and monitor maintenance protocols, documentation and preventive maintenance planning.
• Ensure availability of spare parts, tooling and consumables for ongoing projects.
• Lead and mentor asset coordinators, ROV technicians, superintendents and pilots worldwide.
• Coordinate crew selection, competency requirements and development plans.
• Manage relationships with project teams, suppliers, and support departments.
• Forecast M&R and CAPEX budgets, including purchase orders and supplier agreements.
• Drive SHE-Q compliance with the objective of zero harm to people, environment and equipment.
• Conduct risk assessments, audits, inspections and corrective actions follow-up.
• Lead incident reporting, investigation and non-conformance management.
• Contribute to tenders with asset capability input and review technical requirements.
• Support lessons learned, training initiatives for technical staff.
