Job summary

Heerema Marine Contractors, based in Leiden, seeks a ROV & Subsea Tooling technical subcontract coordinator to bridge teams across vessels, projects, and external suppliers.

You will own subsea engineering scopes, manage subcontractor interfaces, and provide hands-on technical support during testing, mobilization and offshore execution. Growth opportunities span Decommissioning, Transport & Installation and Offshore Wind.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/ocean/related fields.
• 3-7 years of offshore subsea or marine engineering experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage interfaces with subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage technical interfaces between subcontractors and Heerema vessels and project teams.
• Assess subcontractor proposals for subsea services.
• Prepare scopes of work and define testing/qualification requirements.
• Provide technical support during equipment testing, mobilization and offshore execution (~10% of the year).
• Stay informed about developments in the subsea market.
