Job summary

Boskalis Offshore Energy Fleet Management is seeking an ROV Supervisor (Offshore). You will lead remotely operated vehicle operations, supervise pilots, coordinate live missions, and ensure all activities align with project plans and regulatory requirements.

This safety-critical role requires strong leadership and extensive ROV experience in offshore environments. You will report to the ROV Manager and work mainly offshore, with base work for maintenance when needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years ROV experience.
• At least 180 days’ operational time as a Senior Pilot/Technician (IMCA R02).
• Demonstrated leadership of ROV operations, including shift supervision, task planning and coordination.
• IMCA ROV Supervisor logbook with verifiable entries evidencing supervisory responsibilities.
• Technical qualification: Diploma or degree in marine, mechanical, electrical, or electronic engineering (preferred).
• IMCA-recognised Competence Certificate or Portfolio for ROV Supervisor (R01).
• All modules GWO or OPITO approved BOSIET with CA-EBS, and OEUK Medical.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coordinate, and supervise all ROV activities during assigned shift operations.
• Oversee piloting and operation of inspection/light Work-Class ROV systems and tooling.
• Ensure compliance with project work packs, client specs, and IMCA guidance.
• Review execution plans, pre-dive checklists, and reporting documentation.
• Monitor ROV system status, telemetry, and video feeds; escalate issues with Base.
