Job summary

Finom in the Netherlands is seeking a Senior Reconciliation Analyst on a fixed-term maternity cover to join the payment operations team. You will own daily reconciliation monitoring, investigate discrepancies, and collaborate with engineering and banking partners to keep balances accurate.

Qualifications

• Experience in reconciliation, payment operations, or treasury operations.
• Proficient in Excel and data visualization/BI tools.
• Understanding of payment schemes and how money moves between banks.
• Detail-oriented with handling money movements.
• Adaptable to fast-paced, changing environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication.
• Available to start immediately or on short notice.
• Interested in a fixed-term contract (~5 months) with possible extension.

Responsibilities

• Own daily reconciliation monitoring and investigate breaks.
• Resolve reconciliation breaks end-to-end with internal/external teams.
• Maintain reporting and month-end close.
• Work across data tools to monitor reconciliation data.
• Contribute to automation using AI and other tools.
• Handle occasional manual money transfers.
• Manage stakeholders across the business.
