Job summary

MediaMarktSaturn Plattform Services GmbH in Rotterdam seeks a Senior R2R Accountant to lead the Record-to-Report process for BeNeLux, driving timely month-end and year-end closings, financial reporting and consolidation. You will partner with the Finance Manager and collaborate with the Global Business Shared Services in Barcelona to deliver high-quality results.

You bring at least 5 years in accounting, IFRS, SAP and advanced Excel, with strong analytical and communication skills to navigate

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Your scope of work

Are you an experienced accounting professional with a strong background in Record-to-Report (R2R), financial reporting and consolidation? Do you enjoy working with complex accounting topics while also looking for ways to improve processes and ways of working? Then this could be your next opportunity at MediaMarkt BeNeLux.

As a Senior R2R Accountant, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate, complete and timely execution of the Record-to-Report process for MediaMarkt BeNeLux.
You will be closely involved in the month-end and year-end closing processes, financial reporting, consolidation and audit preparation. Working closely with the Finance Manager, you will act as a trusted sparring partner on accounting, consolidation and reporting matters.

At the same time, you will have an active role in improving and further professionalizing our R2R processes. You willtake end-to-end ownership of your assigned processes and work closely with our Global Business Shared Services team in Barcelona to ensure high-quality and timely delivery.
