Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Senior Quotation Engineer for MV solutions to prepare optimized techno-commercial offers for customers across EMEA, focusing on utility, data center, and industrial segments.

You will analyze requirements, select the best Eaton solution, and coordinate inputs from sales, application engineers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality quotations and manage risks through the process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in quotation and tendering activities within the electrical power distribution industry, with MV switchgear exposure.
• Strong knowledge of MV switchgear products, applications, and power distribution systems.
• Commercially aware, balancing technical compliance, competitiveness, profitability and risk.
• English communication skills and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality quotations within agreed timelines with technical accuracy and commercial competitiveness.
• Review customer specifications, single-line diagrams, datasheets and tender docs to identify requirements.
• Configure and optimize MV switchgear solutions in line with standards and Eaton product capabilities.
• Prepare complete techno-commercial offers coordinating inputs from stakeholders.
• Collaborate to ensure proposed solutions are technically compliant and executable.
• Develop competitive quotations balancing customer expectations, lead times, risks, and profitability.
• Identify and communicate technical and execution risks and support mitigation actions.
• Manage quotation revisions and handover of awarded projects to execution teams.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
