Job summary

QuantWare is seeking a Senior Process Integration Engineer to translate R&D into robust, scalable manufacturing processes for quantum hardware. You will collaborate with Engineering, R&D, Product, Operations and Quality to define process flows, specs and control strategies for new products.

You will lead transfer activities, qualify and validate processes, resolve yield issues, and drive continuous improvements using data-driven methods.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in Process Integration, Process Engineering, NPI or Yield Engineering.
• Master's or PhD in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Semiconductor Engineering preferred.
• Experience in semiconductor startup or high-tech hardware environment.
• Strong understanding of process development, integration, qualification and manufacturing transfer.
• Experience with RCA, FMEA, SPC, DOE or similar tools.
• Ability to analyze process data to improve yield and performance.
• Familiarity with quality and manufacturing systems (Control Plans, non-conformance, CAPA).
• Experience working cross-functionally with R&D, Engineering, Manufacturing and Quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead the integration and transfer of new products, processes and technologies from R&D into manufacturing.
• Define and develop manufacturing process flows, process specs and control strategies for new product introductions.
• Collaborate with R&D and cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturability, quality, and scalability.
• Plan and execute process integration activities: development, qualification, validation, release.
• Identify, investigate and resolve process issues, yield losses and anomalies.
• Drive continuous process and yield improvements using data-driven approaches.
• Support transition and scaling of capabilities including new equipment, automation and MES systems.
• Develop and maintain process and quality documentation (FMEAs, Control Plans, specs, work instructions, change control).
• Participate in Change Control Boards and Material Review Boards.
• Work with Operations to establish stable, repeatable, scalable processes.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers as the team grows.
