Job summary

QuantWare is seeking a Process Engineer to bridge R&D and manufacturing in a state‑of‑the‑art quantum device fab. You will own SAT for new process tools, drive qualification campaigns, and coordinate tool installation with Facilities and Equipment Engineering to minimize schedule impact.

You will also lead end‑to‑end transfer of multiple process modules, partner with R&D to preserve process intent, and implement DOE strategies and SPC-based monitoring to improve yield and reproducibility.

Qualifications

• MSc or PhD in Physics, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• 3+ years hands-on cleanroom process engineering experience in a semiconductor fab or advanced materials fabrication environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead or co‑lead Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) for incoming process tools (2 modules minimum).
• Create SAT criteria with equipment engineers and tool vendors; sign‑off on test conditions and results.
• Execute qualification wafer runs, analyze results, and generate SAT reports with pass/fail determinations.
• Own end‑to‑end transfer of at least 2 process modules from R&D to kilofab; preserve process intent during transfer.
• Develop and execute process qualification plans (PQPs) and establish process windows and acceptance criteria.
• Establish and maintain SPC for all processes and set up FDC with fab automation team.
• Drive DOE to optimize key process parameters for yield improvement.
• Document learnings to OCAPs and SOPs; train technicians on tool operations and wafer metrology.
