Job summary

NorthC Group is seeking a Purchasing Manager to lead and shape procurement across our data centers in the Netherlands, Switzerland, and Germany, aligning purchasing activities with financial goals. You will develop strategies, negotiate with suppliers, manage the budget, ensure regulatory compliance, and partner with cross-functional teams to optimize cost efficiency and supply continuity.

Fluent Dutch and English are required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in SCM, Business Administration, or related field.
5–8 years procurement or supply chain experience.
Fluency in Dutch and English.
Experience with ERP or procurement software.
Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective purchasing.
Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing.
Monitor and analyze purchasing trends to forecast future needs.
Manage relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
Oversee the procurement budget and ensure financial efficiency.
Ensure compliance with procurement regulations and internal policies.
Collaborate with other departments to understand purchasing needs.
Conduct regular market research to stay updated on industry trends.
Develop and maintain policies and procedures for the purchasing department.
Evaluate and improve procurement processes.
Oversee end-to-end procurement process to ensure timely fulfillment.
