Responsibilities

• As Purchaser you are responsible, together with your colleagues, for selecting new suppliers, negotiating conditions such as prices, delivery times, quality, conditions & services and checking the suppliers for compliance with their agreements.
• You are involved in the preparation and evaluation of (received) offers and periodically analyze your own “purchase package.”
• You are co-responsible for drawing up and implementing the procurement policy, achieving the departmental objectives and you make an active contribution to optimizing the procurement processes.

What do we expect from you?

Job requirements

• An education at HBO level (preferably Technical Business Administration), supplemented by NEVI-1 and at least 5-7 years of relevant (international) work experience in the manufacturing industry/technology; knowledge of materials and types of plates; experience with Category Management and EDI.
• You have an excellent command of the English language, oral and written. Command of Dutch and German language is a bonus, but not required.
