Job summary
NTS in Hengelo, Netherlands, is looking for a Project Buyer to represent procurement in customer projects, selecting suppliers and shaping supply strategies.
You will collaborate with project managers, commodity buyers and Supplier Quality Engineers, ensuring timely material availability and cost optimization.
The role requires HBO level education, 3+ years in procurement, strong analytics, ERP LN / Infor experience, and fluency in Dutch and English.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in a procurement role.
- HBO level education in a related field (Industrial Engineering & Management or Supply Chain).
- Fluent in Dutch and English; strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Experience with ERP systems (ERP LN / Infor) and IT tools; proactive process improvement mindset.
Responsibilities
- Select and approve suppliers based on customer requirements and commodity strategies.
- Negotiate project packages and monitor CPR roadmap.
- Develop and execute procurement strategies with Commodity Buyers and Supplier Quality Engineers.
- Ensure timely availability of materials by placing and tracking project orders.
- Drive procurement cost optimization in line with Total Cost of Ownership principles.
