Job summary

EXANTE Limited seeks an accomplished principal trader to build, run and develop its main trading book across asset classes. You will provide liquidity against client flow, manage inventory and hedge residual exposure to generate P&L within compliance and best-execution frameworks.

Reporting line is to the Chief Operations Officer. The role requires 10–20 years in principal/flow trading with multi-asset risk management expertise and a track record of delivering P&L across market regimes.

Qualifications

• Ten to twenty years of experience in principal trading, flow trading or market making with clear P&L history across regimes.
• Strong multi-asset risk management background (delta, gamma, vega, liquidity, counterparty).
• Hands-on familiarity with MiFID II, best-execution and conflicts-of-interest in regulated broker-dealer environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide liquidity against client flow and manage inventory for a principal trading book.
• Develop trading strategies (market making, flow trading, relative-value) within risk limits.
• Identify and onboard exchanges, prime brokers, and OTC counterparties for hedging and inventory management.
• Design and operate risk limits and escalation for the trading book in partnership with Risk function.
• Coordinate securities inventory and revenue with Stock Lending to avoid revenue disruption.
• Collaborate with related desks (Options, Fixed Income & Structured Products) for integrated risk visibility.
• Work with Operations, Treasury and Technology on workflow, financing, settlement and tooling.
• Manage conflicts of interest and ensure best-execution and governance compliance across booking entities.
