Job summary

Gelber Group in Amsterdam is seeking a Trader to join our expanding European desk. You will manage your own proprietary trading book, generate alpha with our strategies, and work alongside an experienced team to capitalize on opportunities across asset classes.

The ideal candidate has a quantitative degree, 1+ year profitability as a trader, strong Python (Pandas, NumPy), Excel and SQL skills, and excellent English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Math, Finance, Eng, Stats or related field.
• Proven profitability as a trader for at least one year.
• Excellent written and verbal English; other languages welcome.

Responsibilities

• Generate alpha using proprietary trading strategies.
• Manage your own trading book with access to multiple exchanges and asset classes.
• Share information regarding market developments across your trading team.
• Conduct research to develop new alpha strategies to broaden the group’s trading techniques.
• Contribute to advancing the group’s proprietary Python libraries.
