Job summary

Gartner, Inc. seeks a Senior Principal within the Business and Technology Insights group. You will craft must-have insights, lead thought leadership, and advise clients on complex ServiceNow pricing and contracting matters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Graduate degree preferred.
• 8+ years of relevant field or industry experience.
• 5+ years work experience in SaaS/software contract negotiations, technology procurement, vendor management or software asset management.
• Extensive, recent, hands-on experience negotiating with ServiceNow.
• Subject matter expertise in ServiceNow licensing and contracting, with understanding of market trends.
• Experience with other major vendors (AWS, Google, Salesforce, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft) desirable.
• Ability to provide compelling, actionable advice on ServiceNow pricing and contracting.
• Publish innovative insights on software pricing and contracting, especially ServiceNow.

Responsibilities

• Create innovative, thought provoking, and highly leveraged must-have insights content.
• Develop new insights and ideas through thought leadership to meet client needs.
• Identify root causes of client barriers and reframing needs to drive strategy.
• Demonstrate thought leadership and establish insights positions across the team.
• Provide clients with actionable advice on pricing and contracting via virtual or face-to-face interactions.
• Create and deliver high-value presentation materials for Gartner events and client briefings.
• Support Sales by acting as voice of the market to drive client engagement.
• Review content for quality and credibility; represent Gartner insights and methodology.
