Job summary

Philips seeks a Sr. Manager, PR & AI Discovery to lead Generative Engine Optimization across Western Europe, auditing how Philips categories appear in AI search engines and defining machine-readable earned assets.

You will modernize earned media, manage agencies, and translate strategy into market plans with cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance and effective authority programs across the region.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in PR, media relations, digital PR, influencer marketing, SEO/GEO, or AI visibility.
• Strong analytical capability with GEO platforms, media monitoring, social listening, and AI tools.
• Experience managing agencies and building earned authority across journalists, publishers, reviewers, creators, and influencers.
• Master’s or Bachelor’s in Communications/PR/Marketing or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional GEO strategy and audit AI search presence.
• Modernize earned media into a unified authority layer across Western Europe.
• Direct agency partnerships, set GEO targets, and governance.
• Translate strategy into market activation with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Lead launches, reputation management, and crisis communications prep.
