Job summary

Wipro Limited in The Hague is seeking an experienced Release Manager to plan, govern and execute the deployment of a new POS system across multiple retail locations. The role focuses on minimizing business disruption while delivering technology transformation objectives.

You will lead end-to-end store deployments, data migration, and cutover activities, balancing technical rollout with business continuity and stakeholder alignment to ensure successful go-lives.

Qualifications

• 8-12+ years of IT delivery experience.
• Minimum 5 years of Release or Deployment Management experience.
• Proven experience replacing a legacy POS system with a modern POS platform.
• Experience deploying to 50+ store locations.
• Strong store cutover and business continuity planning experience.
• Experience managing vendor-led POS implementations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, govern and execute POS system deployments across multiple stores.
• Develop release calendars, milestones and go/no-go criteria.
• Coordinate with Business, Store Ops, Infrastructure, Security and POS teams.
• Lead store cutovers, data migration, and hypercare support.
• Track deployment KPIs and post-implementation reviews.
