Job summary
Jobgether is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager based in the Netherlands. You will lead two critical teams (Platform and Integrations), defining technical direction, roadmaps, and delivery strategies.
Reporting to the CTO, you will balance hands-on coding with leadership to ensure reliable, scalable systems and strong developer tooling. You will foster ownership, drive engineering excellence, and coach engineers across a distributed, fast-moving environment while aligning with business
Qualifications
- At least 5 years in software development with hands-on coding.
- 3+ years managing engineering teams of 10–15 people.
- Experience leading two teams simultaneously preferred.
- Product ownership with roadmaps and prioritization.
- DevOps, cloud platforms, Kubernetes, CI/CD, monitoring experience.
- Advanced English communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead Platform and Integrations teams and align roadmaps with priorities.
- Own technical vision, debt, and scalability initiatives.
- Contribute hands-on coding when needed in Java/Python/Go.
- Design systems, APIs, and architectural decisions for scale.
- Collaborate with Infrastructure/DevOps on cloud, CI/CD, monitoring.
- Mentor engineers, conduct 1:1s, and drive team growth.
- Recruit, onboard, and manage headcount; improve delivery velocity.
