Job summary

Channable, a fast-growing B2B SaaS company in Utrecht, seeks a Senior Engineering Manager for the Core domain. You will lead 3 team leads and ~11 ICs, shaping the department vision, strategy, and roadmap with a Product Lead.

You will mentor, raise engineering standards, and foster a high-performance culture while using data to guide decisions. You’ll collaborate across teams, own metrics, and drive process improvements to boost productivity and impact.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Engineering Manager leading team leads or senior engineers.
• Track record of improving individual and team performance and engagement.
• Background as a software engineer with understanding of high-quality code and trade-offs.
• Outstanding communication with engineers and stakeholders.
• Growth mindset with pragmatism and focus on reducing technical debt.

Responsibilities

• Drive the Core roadmap by balancing company strategy and domain opportunities.
• Quantify success with defined metrics for domain and teams.
• Mentor and coach team leads to grow in their roles.
• Promote high engineering standards and lean, effective processes.
• Build a high-performance culture with accountability and engagement.
• You work based on data and ensure decisions consider data.
