Job summary

Sytac is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer in Amsterdam to architect and own cloud-native infrastructure. You will lead Kubernetes-centric platform work, drive Terraform standards, and scale CI/CD pipelines for multiple teams, while advancing GitOps practices and an Internal Developer Platform mindset.

Applicants should have architectural Kubernetes experience, strong CI/CD history, and hands-on ArgoCD with governance across environments. Java experience is not required.

Qualifications

• Senior-level Terraform and Infrastructure as Code experience across cloud providers.
• Extensive Kubernetes experience at an architectural level.
• Proven CI/CD experience at scale across multiple teams.
• Hands-on ArgoCD experience in production environments.
• Strong GitOps experience across multiple contexts.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain cloud-native platform infrastructure with Kubernetes as a first-class citizen.
• Own and evolve Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, setting standards.
• Build and scale CI/CD pipelines for multiple teams and workloads.
• Implement and maintain GitOps workflows using ArgoCD.
• Collaborate to improve developer experience and platform reliability.
• Contribute to and potentially help build an Internal Developer Platform (IDP).
