Job summary

Stafide in Amsterdam seeks a DevOps/Platform Engineer to advance our Blue-Green deployment strategy across production environments. You will collaborate with application teams to understand hosting, deployment workflows, and infrastructure dependencies.

You will enhance and automate CI/CD pipelines, implement IaC with Terraform, and ensure reliable traffic routing, monitoring, and rollback procedures. This role requires 6+ years in DevOps, Kubernetes (EKS), ArgoCD, and AWS networking.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or related roles.
• Kubernetes (EKS) experience and deployment tooling (ArgoCD, Argo Rollouts).
• Strong AWS networking knowledge (load balancers, Route 53, ingress).
• Proficient with 2+ CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps).
• Terraform or IaC experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess production environments to support Blue-Green deployments.
• Discuss hosting, deployment workflows, infrastructure, and dependencies with app teams.
• Review CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes environments, and gateway configurations.
• Document architecture, interfaces, and database dependencies.
• Identify opportunities to split traffic between versions with minimal disruption.
• Build Green environments using Terraform.
• Configure traffic routing with load balancers, Route 53, ingress, and gateways.
• Enhance CI/CD for automated deployments, validation, rollback, and release management.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting to validate health and deployment success.
• Support database migrations and backward-compatible changes.
• Collaborate with Lead Architect to ensure production readiness.
