Job summary

Insify is building a European insurance platform to simplify launching new products and markets. You will lead the Insurance Platform team responsible for policy lifecycles, renewals, and backoffice tooling, shaping how the platform handles future products and country additions.

You’ll work across Ireland? Europe with 3 days in-office and 2 from home, contributing to scalable architecture, observability, and AI-enabled improvements as Insify expands across markets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building complex web applications and services, including time spent maintaining and evolving systems you designed yourself.
• Ownership & impact instinct – go beyond your direct stack to get results (data/backend/frontend).
• Real leverage from AI in daily work; able to say where it helped or hurt.
• Strong fundamentals in domain-driven design & service-oriented architecture.

• Take technical leadership within a team, owning the wider picture: what you ship end to end and the operational health of what we run.
• Turn new product demands into platform capabilities and features that scale across countries and insurance product lines.
