For our client we are looking for a Senior Planner Engineer.
As a Senior Planning Engineer, you are responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing project schedules to ensure timely and efficient project execution. You work closely with multiple departments, including engineering, procurement, and construction, to align timelines and resources.

Your Role

• Develop and manage detailed project schedules using planning software (e.g., Primavera P6 or MS Project)
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather project data and milestones
• Monitor project progress, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions
• Prepare progress reports, including schedule updates and performance analyses
• Analyze project trends and provide forecasts to support decision-making
• Lead planning meetings and workshops to ensure stakeholder alignment
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards, safety regulations, and internal policies
• Mentor and support the development of junior planning engineers

Who are you

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in project planning within the oil and gas sector or a comparable technical project environment
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field
• Proficiency in project management software (Primavera P6 preferred)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
