Job summary

HR ProjectPartners BV in Rotterdam seeks a Senior Planning Engineer to develop, maintain and optimize project schedules for complex oil and gas projects. You will work with engineering, procurement and construction teams to align timelines and resources using industry-standard tools.

The candidate should have 5+ years in project planning, strong analytical and communication skills, and hands-on Primavera P6 experience (MS Project preferred).

Responsibilities

• You develop and oversee detailed project schedules using project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
• You coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary project data and milestones.
• You monitor and oversee project progress, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks.
• You prepare and oversee regular progress reports, including schedule updates, earned value analysis, and performance metrics.
• You analyse project trends and provide forecasts to support decision-making.
• You lead planning meetings and workshops to ensure stakeholder alignment.
• You ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
• You mentor more junior Planning Engineers and support their development.
