Job summary

Wesco International, Inc. in Almere, Netherlands is seeking a Manager – Operations to oversee a multi-facility warehouse operation, lead a diverse team including Operations Associates, Drivers and Administrative Coordinators, and collaborate with Sales to fulfil orders and resolve issues.

You will monitor KPIs, drive LEAN improvements, ensure safety, quality, and compliance, and help develop budgets while managing the facility's P&L.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ operations experience in distribution center facilities preferred.
• Experience managing a group or team of individual contributors and/or indirectly supervises support staff
• Proficient with Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Teams, PowerPoint)
• Ability to travel 0-25% of the time

Responsibilities

• Oversee on-time order fulfillment, shipping, receiving, inventory and quality systems.
• Manage location with multiple warehouse systems and value-added services.
• Maintain a safe, secure and inclusive workplace.
• Coach, hire, train and perform staff development and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and audit standards (ISO 9000).
• Manage expense-based P&L to plan.
• Drive efficiencies using LEAN methodologies.
• Maintain facility readiness and equipment maintenance.
• Align capacities with market expectations in collaboration with sales leadership.
• Coordinate with Accounts Payable/Receivable, HR and Finance.
• Contribute to developing annual facility budgets.
