Job summary

Wesco International, Inc. is seeking an Associate Manager - Operations to oversee a customer-focused warehouse environment with a lean team structure. You will manage direct reports, drive order fulfilment, and resolve issues impacting service quality.

You will coordinate with Sales, 3PLs, and freight partners, manage budgets, and monitor KPIs to continually improve efficiency and delivery performance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 4 years warehouse and distribution operations experience.
• 2 years supervisory or lead experience in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to operate a forklift or obtain one.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Customer service oriented.
• Self-driven, able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills.
• Travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Manages warehouse staff in training, coaching, and counseling.
• Oversees location with potential multiple warehouse systems and value-added services.
• Partners with cross-functional teams on pre-sales feasibility/cost analysis.
• Completes operational activities on-time and updates Sales/Operations Management.
• Coordinates with stakeholders and supports project deliveries.
• Reviews and improves efficiency of existing processes and procedures.
• Ensures activities stay within budget and manages department costs.
• Tracks performance of service providers (3PLs, brokers, transporters).
• Reviews service provider invoices for contract compliance and coordinates with AP for payment.
