Job summary

RWE Offshore Wind Netherlands B.V. seeks an experienced SOV Manager to lead the operation of the OranjeWind Offshore Wind Farm, 85 km off Den Helder. You will be the senior RWE representative aboard the SOV, coordinating with the vessel crew, Vestas and internal teams to ensure safe, efficient offshore activities.

The role requires a strong safety culture, 14 days on/14 days off, and collaboration across Production, Maintenance and Planning to support Balance of Plant operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• Energy-sector operational experience, offshore wind preferred.
• Proven team leadership and coordination with a hands-on approach.
• Strong understanding of offshore operations and maintenance practices.
• Experience in technical and commercial operational management.
• Commitment to health, safety and environmental performance.
• Excellent written/spoken English; offshore fitness and height work.
• Willingness to work in the Netherlands and security screening if required.

Responsibilities

• Represent RWE aboard the SOV and coordinate with vessel operator and Vestas.
• Lead and coordinate RWE personnel onboard daily.
• Champion RWE's Zero Incident Policy and ensure HSE compliance.
• Coordinate with Production, Maintenance and Planning for safe offshore activities.
• Act as main operational contact between RWE, contractors and crew.
• Ensure effective use of SOV and support contract management.
• Provide backup to Maintenance Coordinator and improve offshore logistics.
• Lead emergency response and crisis-management when needed.
