Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking a Senior Technician for the Hollandse Kust Nord offshore wind farm. You will lead advanced maintenance, diagnose complex turbine issues, and mentor local technicians to improve safety and reliability. Your work helps minimize downtime and maximize energy production in offshore operations.

The role emphasizes hands-on problem solving, rigorous safety standards, and effective collaboration with the Wind Power Offshore team.

Qualifications

Vocational degree or technical diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronics or equivalent apprenticeship.
4–6 years in wind turbine maintenance with 2–3 years offshore experience.
Advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting of wind turbine generators (WTG) including HV/LV systems.
Certifications such as GWO BST, GWO EFA, Offshore Medical Certificate (NOGEPA/NOG).
Strong risk assessment, incident reporting, and safety/compliance focus in offshore ops.
Available for 7 days on, 7 days off rotation.

Responsibilities

Perform complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repairs on offshore wind turbine generators (WTGs).
Execute scheduled preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and system commissioning per Siemens Energy standards.
Analyze turbine performance data and diagnostic logs to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
Provide technical guidance and on-the-job training to junior and new technicians to build local capabilities.
Enforce offshore safety standards and compliance with Zero Harm policies and Dutch regulations.
