Job summary

RWE Offshore Wind Netherlands B.V. is seeking an experienced SOV Manager to lead the operation of the OranjeWind Offshore Wind Farm, located 85 kilometres off the coast of Den Helder. You will be the senior RWE representative on board, coordinating with the vessel operator and Vestas to ensure safe, efficient offshore activities.

The role reports to the Production Manager with a 14/14 rotation. The project aims to commence operation in 2027, with initial maintenance provided by Vestas and RWE

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• Significant offshore wind operations experience.
• Proven team leadership and coordination skills.
• Strong knowledge of offshore operations and maintenance.
• Experience in technical and commercial operational management.
• Commitment to health, safety and environmental performance.
• Excellent English; offshore medical fitness and height work eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Senior representative aboard the SOV, coordinating with vessel operator and Vestas.
• Lead and coordinate on-board RWE personnel daily.
• Champion Zero Incident Policy and ensure HSE compliance.
• Coordinate with Production, Maintenance and Planning teams.
• Act as main operational contact between RWE, contractors and crew.
• Ensure effective use of the SOV and support contract management.
• Provide backup to Maintenance Coordinator and improve offshore logistics.
• Lead emergency response and crisis management when required.
