QuantWare in Delft is seeking a Senior MES & Automation Engineer for the Operations team. The role focuses on MES architectures, master data, process flows, and integration with semiconductor equipment and IT systems.

You will drive DOE initiatives and develop SECS/GEM interfaces for factory automation. Join a senior, full-time position delivering end-to-end MES solutions across design, testing, deployment and support, coordinating with multiple stakeholders across manufacturing and IT.

Qualifications

• Strong background in MES architecture and manufacturing process integration.
• Hands-on with MES Master Data, Flow Creation, Constraint & Dispatch Management, and DOE.
• Experience with SECS-I, HSMS, SECS/GEM and factory automation.
• Knowledge of semiconductor equipment integration and automation validation.
• Experience with APIs, web services, and enterprise system integrations.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, C#, .NET, Java, Python or JavaScript.

Responsibilities

• Understand and manage MES Master Data structures and associated workflows.
• Create and maintain MES process flows and routing configurations.
• Configure Constraint Management and Dispatch Management functions.
• Support DOE functionality and Special Engineering initiatives.
• Deliver MES solutions through design, development, configuration, testing, deployment and support.
• Support integration between MES and equipment, databases and factory systems.
• Troubleshoot MES issues, perform root cause analysis and implement improvements.
• Develop and maintain SECS/GEM interfaces and templates.
• Conduct equipment characterization, automation validation and integration efforts.
• Coordinate MES, automation and factory IT system interfaces and APIs.
