Job summary

Prysmian is seeking a Smart Manufacturing Intern to support the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) replacement project at our Delft site. This full-time internship (36 hours/week) offers a hands-on experience in smart manufacturing and change management, engaging directly with operations on the shopfloor.

The ideal candidate is a Bachelor’s student in Engineering with fluency in Dutch and English, interested in digital transformation and proficient with Microsoft tools. Gain real-world experience and skills for future career opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's student in Industrial Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, or similar.
• Fluent in both Dutch and English.
• Strong interest in digital/smart manufacturing and MES.
• Comfortable with Microsoft tools, Excel, Power Platform.
• Proactive, hands-on, and eager to learn in production settings.

Responsibilities

• Support MES go-live and post-go-live activities on the shopfloor.
• Help define and improve shopfloor workflows across functional areas.
• Assist with change management and training material for users.
• Support data migration and analysis.
• Build digital tools, dashboards, and simple applications.

Skills

Fluent in Dutch
