Job summary

MPower Plus is seeking a Senior Mendix Developer in Utrecht, Netherlands, for a permanent, hybrid role (2/3 days WFO). You will design, build and maintain enterprise-grade Mendix applications, collaborating with business and IT stakeholders in a Dutch-speaking environment.

Required: 5+ years IT experience with Mendix, Mendix Studio Pro, microflows/nanoflows, REST/SOAP integrations, and Agile/Scrum experience, plus strong security and performance understanding.

Job Purpose and primary objectives:

We are looking for a Senior Mendix Developer with strong hands-on experience in Mendix development to design, build, and maintain enterprise-grade low-code applications. The role requires deep technical expertise in the Mendix platform, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate closely with business and IT stakeholders in a Dutch-speaking environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Mendix applications using platform best practices.
• Translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable Mendix solutions.
• Develop and optimize microflows, nanoflows, domain models, and UI components.
• Integrate Mendix applications with external systems using REST and SOAP APIs.
• Ensure application performance, security, and scalability.
• Perform code reviews, troubleshooting, and defect resolution.
• Collaborate with business users, architects, and testers.
• Prepare technical documentation and support knowledge transfer.

Must-Have Skills

• 5 years of overall IT experience with strong hands-on Mendix development expertise.
• Extensive experience with Mendix Studio Pro.
• Strong knowledge of microflows, nanoflows, domain modeling, and Mendix UI development.
• Experience with REST and SOAP-based integrations.
• Good understanding of application security, performance, and scalability.
• Experience working in Agile / Scrum delivery models.
