The Orange Force is a fast-growing expert company in the Netherlands that delivers Mendix applications to clients. As a (Senior) Mendix Consultant you will lead Mendix projects with a multidisciplinary team and mentor colleagues to deliver high-quality apps.

You live in the Netherlands, are fluent in Dutch and English, and possess a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree (IT-related) with strong Mendix expertise and client-facing skills. The role supports hybrid work from Utrecht or remote locations.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree, preferably IT-related.
• At least 5 years of professional IT experience, with multiple projects and preferably team lead.
• More than 3 years of Mendix experience, Advanced or Expert Developer Certified.
• Broad IT knowledge including architecture, systems integration, UX.

Responsibilities

• Lead Mendix development projects and coordinate a small multidisciplinary team.
• Deliver user-friendly, responsive Mendix apps and ensure performance.
• Advise clients on new technologies and manage client expectations.
• Coordinate with architecture, UX, and IT topics.

Your role as (Senior) Mendix Consultant

As one of our Mendix Experts, you will work in a small multidisciplinary team consisting of Mendix experts in all fields of development: from Lead Developers to Architects and from Scrum Masters to UX Experts; we aim to deliver intelligent apps to our clients. You will help them augment their business, enhance their processes, and help them get and stay ahead of their competition.
As a true expert, you listen to the needs of your clients, advise them about new technologies like Artificial Intelligence, smart AWS Services, and IoT, and propose choices they need to make and manage their expectations. Together with the rest of the team you develop, test, and implement the application. To exceed expectations, as a (Senior) Mendix Consultant, you make sure deadlines are met and coach the rest of the team. What are we looking for?

Below you will find an overview of what we are looking for in a (Senior) Mendix Consultant.

You live in the Netherlands and are fluent in Dutch and English.

In possession of a completed Master’s or Bachelor’s degree, preferably IT-related.

At least 5 years of professional working experience in IT, having delivered multiple projects (preferably in a team lead role).

More than 3 years of Mendix experience, and are Mendix Advanced Developer or Mendix Expert Developer Certified.

Broad experience in IT topics related to software development, like IT architecture, systems integration, UX, etc.
