Job Title: Mendix Advanced Developer

Location: Netherlands (Hybrid / On-site options available)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Mendix Advanced Developer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable Mendix applications from scratch, while ensuring high performance and adherence to best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop Mendix applications end-to-end (from scratch to deployment)
• Maintain, enhance, and optimize existing Mendix applications
• Ensure adherence to Mendix best practices, coding standards, and performance guidelines
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, designers, and stakeholders
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, ensuring stability and scalability
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Mendix Developer (Advanced level certification preferred)
• Strong understanding of Mendix platform architecture and best practices
• Experience in application development, deployment, and maintenance
• Solid knowledge of:
  • HTML
  • CSS
  • JavaScript
  • Familiarity with Java is a strong plus
• Experience in creating custom modules and custom widgets in Mendix
• Experience with integrations (REST/SOAP APIs)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Nice to Have

• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Knowledge of Azure Cloud is a plus
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Mendix Cloud)
• DevOps and CI/CD pipeline experience
