Job summary

Stoneridge is seeking a Sr. Mechanical Engineer to design and industrialize automotive camera and display systems, including rear-view and surround view hardware.

You will apply mechanical engineering principles to ensure thermal performance, sealing, and mass production readiness. The successful candidate has 7+ years in automotive mechanical design, strong CAD skills (NX/ Creo/ CATIA/ Inventor), and experience with DFMEA and automotive validation, collaborating across electrical, software, and

Qualifications

7+ years of automotive mechanical design experience.
Hands-on development and integration for mass production.
Proficiency with CAD tools and thermal, sealing, mounting systems.
Familiarity with LVDS, Ethernet, CAN and automotive validation.

Responsibilities

Design and industrialize camera/display systems for automotive use.
Collaborate with electrical, software, and optical teams for integration.
Create CAD models, drawings, and perform tolerance analyses and DFMEA.
Support environmental and durability testing and supplier engagement.
