Job summary

ENTER seeks a Mechanical Architect to define the mechanical architecture of complex high-tech systems for international clients. You will translate customer needs into clear specifications and work with mechanics, electronics, software and mechatronics teams to ensure coherent system design.

You will lead engineers, set mechanical budgets, and develop subsystem concepts while driving innovation and applying Design for Excellence principles.

Qualifications

• MSc or PhD in Mechanical/Mechatronic Engineering.
• Proven track record in mechanical design within high-tech systems and/or equipment.
• 10 to 15 years of experience in mechatronic and precision system design.
• Broad multidisciplinary orientation integrating mechanical with electronics, software and mathematics.
• Strong analytical and abstract thinking with communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Define the mechanical architecture of complex systems and translate customer needs into technical specifications.
• Collaborate with mechanics, electronics, software, mechatronics and math teams to ensure system coherence.
• Set system specifications, mechanical budgets and develop subsystem concepts.
• Specify testing/integration requirements to support the V-model development process.
