Job summary

Delve Search in Eindhoven is seeking a Senior System Architect to own the overall system architecture for complex high-tech machinery. You will translate product requirements into technical specifications and guide multidisciplinary teams through development to scalable, robust products.

You will move the organisation toward structured, scalable product development, balancing hardware, electrical and software concerns while collaborating with project managers and external partners.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in complex, high-precision machinery development.
• Background in mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, or systems engineering.
• Experience defining system architectures and technical specifications.
• Strong ability to manage multidisciplinary hardware/software integration.

Responsibilities

• Define and develop the system architecture for complex high-tech machinery.
• Translate functional requirements into system requirements, design specifications and technical solutions.
• Establish and maintain structured requirements management and system documentation using the V-model.
• Develop short-term system architecture roadmaps and technical development strategies.
• Define hardware/software interfaces and ensure effective integration of subsystems.
• Lead technical discussions and make engineering trade-offs across disciplines.
• Work with Project Manager to align technical decisions with product requirements.
• Provide technical guidance to multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Collaborate with external partners and suppliers.
• Support transitioning from R&D concepts to scalable products.
