About the organisation

This role is pivotal in driving operational excellence within the Privacy function, ensuring it operates with optimal efficiency and strategic impact. Reporting to the Chief Privacy Officer, you will lead initiatives to transform and mature the privacy function, streamline processes, and enhance collaboration across internal and external stakeholders. Your work will directly influence the organisation\'s ability to maintain strong privacy compliance while achieving strategic objectives.

What are you going to do?

You will act as a strategic partner to the Privacy Leadership Team (Privacy LT), designing and implementing governance frameworks, optimising processes, and driving performance management. You will ensure that the function operates effectively, with clear priorities, efficient workflows, and measurable outcomes. This role requires a proactive leader who thrives in dynamic environments and can balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.

What does your job contain?

Function Governance
- Design and implement efficient cross-organisational mechanisms to ensure strategic alignment and long-term success.
- Facilitate strategic planning sessions for the Privacy LT, ensuring alignment on goals and priorities.
- Connect the dots across projects, identifying synergies, risks, and dependencies.
- Ensure leadership meetings effectively link strategy, prioritisation, and execution.
Process Excellence
- Lead the design and implementation of structured methodologies for business-as-usual operations.
- Standardise and optimise processes to increase efficiency and productivity across the department.
- Champion best practices and tools to enhance team productivity and workflow management.
Performance Management
- Manage and mature the Privacy function scorecard, including KPIs and success criteria.
- Monitor strategic priorities and ensure timely corrective actions where needed.
- Oversee resource planning to anticipate peak workloads and ensure efficiency.
Support Decision Making
- Prepare high-quality materials for leadership meetings and key decision-making forums.
- Develop recommendations and communicate them with compelling narratives to senior stakeholders.

Proven ability to design and implement governance and process improvement frameworks.
