About the role

Business Operations Manager – a freelance opportunity that drives operational excellence and enables strategic decision‑making within our Product & Technology organization. This role ensures smooth day‑to‑day operations, implements structured processes and fosters alignment across cross‑functional teams including product, technology, design and data.

As a Business Operations Manager you will design and maintain an effective rhythm of business, lead annual planning activities and ensure successful execution of key initiatives. You will act as a trusted partner to leadership, providing insights, tracking KPIs and driving continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Business rhythm & cadence
  • Own preparation, facilitation and follow‑up of business cadences (monthly reviews, quarterly planning, leadership meetings).
  • Track and communicate decisions and actions across stakeholders.
• Annual planning
  • Lead the annual planning process, translating company strategy into actionable operational plans.
  • Ensure alignment on priorities, dependencies and resource planning across departments.
• Workforce management
  • Oversee workforce capacity tracking and reporting in collaboration with FP&A, HR and Recruitment.
  • Provide leadership with insights on headcount movements and resourcing trends.
• Stakeholder management
  • Act as a central point of contact, streamlining processes and fostering collaboration.
  • Influence up to Director level and interact productively with senior leadership.
• Process excellence
  • Design and implement efficient processes to optimise operations.
  • Drive adoption of standardised practices while simplifying where possible.
• Methodology & standards
  • Apply structured, data‑informed approaches to improve business operations.
  • Bridge business operations with product development practices and leverage tools such as Jira for tracking and reporting.

• Proven experience in business operations, preferably within a Product & Technology environment.
• Strong understanding of product development practices and cross‑functional collaboration.
• Excellent organisational, analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organisation.
• Proficiency in tools such as Jira and familiarity with operational governance frameworks.
