Job summary

Everest BV is seeking an experienced Senior Management Accountant to own day-to-day finance operations and shape a scalable, technology-enabled finance function. You will combine strong accounting and analytical skills with a hands-on approach and collaborate across teams.

You will implement AI, optimize processes and work with the finance function at our shareholder's headquarters. Five+ years of relevant accounting experience and Dutch GAAP knowledge are required, with proficiency in Workday

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant analytical discipline.
• At least five years of accounting experience.
• Strong Workday and Dutch GAAP knowledge.
• Advanced Excel and data-analysis skills.
• Fluency in English; German or French is a plus.
• Experience with e-invoicing and tax matters is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely accounting under Dutch GAAP and support group reporting
• Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable and cash flows
• Coordinate finance-related matters with suppliers and business partners
• Serve as the main contact for banks, authorities, tax advisers and auditors
• Support the implementation of e-invoicing and improve billing processes
• Optimize accounting and controlling processes in Workday, including the use of AI and automation
• Prepare management reports, dashboards and ad-hoc financial analyses
• Support accounting and tax-related matters with a hands-on approach
• Collaborate closely with the finance function at our shareholder's headquarters
• Proactively identify and implement improvements that support a scalable finance organization

Your profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or another relevant analytical discipline, or equivalent professional experience
• At least five years of relevant experience in accounting, management accounting or a comparable finance role
• Strong accounting knowledge; experience with Dutch GAAP is highly desirable
• Practical experience with Workday Financial Management and improving finance processes
• Advanced Excel and data-analysis skills
• Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving ability
• Proactive, organized and comfortable taking ownership
• Able to balance attention to detail with a broader business perspective
• Fluent in English; German or French would be an advantage

Experience in taxation or relevant legal matters would be an additional asset.
