Job summary

Trengo is seeking a Platform Engineer to work on the Kubernetes/GitOps platform behind our AI-powered customer engagement products. You will manage EKS clusters, drive GitOps workflows, and help migrate our Laravel app from EC2 to Kubernetes while keeping the EC2 fleet healthy.

You will also manage AWS infra with Terraform and improve observability, security, and cost across the platform. You will mentor engineers, share knowledge through clear docs, and help define engineering standards.

Responsibilities

• Work on our EKS clusters and GitOps platform: upgrades, security, autoscaling and the core platform components.
• Improve how teams deploy to Kubernetes: the GitOps workflows, CI/CD pipelines and self-service templates developers use to ship their apps.
• Help migrate our core Laravel application from EC2 to Kubernetes, while keeping the existing EC2 fleet healthy.
• Manage AWS infrastructure with Terraform, and improve observability, alerting, security and cost across the platform.
• Bring engineers along: mentor them, pair on platform changes, write clear docs and help define our engineering standards.
