Job summary

Van Oord in Rotterdam seeks a Senior Internal Communication Advisor to partner with leadership and drive organisation-wide communication initiatives. You will advise senior stakeholders, translate strategy into compelling narratives, and own high-impact projects from concept to execution in a dynamic, international environment.

You will lead strategic approaches, collaborate across HR and Operations, and strengthen employee engagement while shaping culture and organisational success at Van Oord

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in internal communication within a corporate, international or project driven environment.
• Strong experience with change communication, stakeholder management and organisational transformation.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to build relationships across all organisational levels.
• Excellent command of Dutch and English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop strategic communication approaches for organisation wide programmes, change initiatives and business priorities.
• Act as a senior advisor to management and project leadership on complex communication and stakeholder challenges.
• Translate business strategy into compelling narratives and communication strategies across channels and audiences.
• Take ownership of high impact communication projects from concept to execution, including governance and stakeholder alignment.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen communication effectiveness, employee engagement and organisational connection.
