Job summary

Van Oord’s Offshore Energy unit seeks an experienced Communication Advisor (Offshore Energy) to bridge the business with Stakeholders & Sustainability. You will develop communication and stakeholder engagement plans, advise internal and external audiences, and translate political and societal developments into clear guidance.

Based in Gorinchem/Rotterdam, you will travel for exhibitions and events and collaborate across STS and Offshore Energy, turning complex topics into engaging messages

Qualifications

• A bachelor's or master's degree in Communications or a related field.
• Extensive experience as a communication advisor in corporate, B2B and/or government settings.
• Excellent command of Dutch and English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Develop communication and stakeholder engagement plans aligned with Offshore Energy priorities.
• Translate strategic themes into clear messages for diverse audiences.
• Manage communication projects from start to finish, including events and exhibitions.
• Develop content, copy and visual materials that convey the intended message.
• Coordinate communication activities and align planning through the communication calendar.
