Job summary

Van Oord is seeking an experienced Communication Advisor to join the Offshore Energy team. You will link business and the STS department, translating complex projects into clear, impactful communications and actively contributing to execution.

You will develop engagement plans, advise stakeholders, and translate political and societal developments into practical guidance. A hands-on mindset and cross‑functional collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• You are an experienced communication advisor with a degree in Communications or related field.
• Extensive experience in corporate, B2B and/or B2G environments is expected.
• Excellent command of Dutch and English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Develop communication and stakeholder engagement plans aligned with Offshore Energy priorities.
• Translate strategic themes into clear messages for diverse internal and external audiences.
• Manage communication projects from start to finish, including exhibitions and events.
• Develop content, copy and visual materials that convey the intended message.
• Coordinate communication activities and align planning through the communication calendar.
