Job summary

Jobgether is sourcing a Senior Integration Engineer (Python & TypeScript) for a partner company based in the Netherlands. The role focuses on backend integrations, APIs, and scalable services across cloud platforms, with strong emphasis on reliability and security.

You will work with GraphQL, Hasura, and PostgreSQL, collaborating with a distributed US team and ensuring 2–4 hours of overlap. Experience in healthcare tech and PMS integrations is highly valued. This is a fully remote position.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of backend software engineering experience.
• Advanced hands-on experience with Python and TypeScript.
• Proven experience building complex APIs and system integrations.
• Experience with GraphQL, Hasura, and PostgreSQL is valuable.
• Cloud platform experience (GCP or AWS) is an advantage.
• Strong collaboration with distributed teams and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain complex backend integrations using Python and TypeScript.
• Build robust APIs and integration services for reliable inter-system communication.
• Architect scalable backend solutions for challenging integration requirements.
• Maintain backend services with focus on reliability, performance, and security.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate integration needs into technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and implement durable fixes.
• Contribute to architectural decisions on APIs, data flows, and interoperability.
• Work with cloud environments as project needs dictate.
• Ensure 2–4 hours overlap with US-based team, including West Coast hours.
