Job summary

Rabobank is seeking a Senior Insights Data Scientist to transform Transaction Monitoring data into actionable insights and scalable analytic solutions. You will develop automated capabilities supporting decision processes and optimise TM rules.

Your role focuses on an end-to-end automated TM Detection rule-tuning solution, analysing how thresholds and parameters affect detection performance and translating business needs into automated recommendations and analytics.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a technical field.
• 7+ years of data analysis experience in Python.
• Experience with PySpark, Databricks and Power BI.
• Strong analytical and communication skills in English.
• Structured, proactive approach translating business needs into scalable solutions.
• Experience guiding junior colleagues in delivery and sharing a technical vision.
• Dutch work permit and residence required.

Responsibilities

• Develop data-driven rule-tuning strategies by creating analytical models and decision logic to prioritise rules, segments and parameters.
• Build scalable analytical workflows by automating analyses across rules, segments and parameter combinations.
• Design and develop production-ready analytical products such as dashboards and decision-support tools.
